Good Travel Seal
Virtaan Kartano has received the Good Travel Seal certificate in February 2025.
The Good Travel Seal is a method for assessing sustainability and responsibility. Companies of all sizes, organizations, networks and other actors can apply for the certificate, which assesses their own operations on the working platform and is assessed by independent experts.
Climate Partnership
In October 2024, we joined Päijät-Häme as a Climate Partner.
We want to be involved in climate work. Päijät-Häme aims to be carbon neutral by 2030. As a result, we have committed to monitoring heat and electricity consumption, replacing all lighting with LED bulbs, and reducing water consumption.
Salpausselkä Geopark Partner
In August 2024, we became a partner of Salpausselkä Geopark.
Salpausselkä Geopark has been a UNESCO Global Geopark since April 2022 and promotes sustainable tourism and related economic activities, as well as sustainable development education and cross-municipal cooperation.
