Väentupa

In our cosy Väentupa you can stay in a beautiful manor milieu. Väentupa is an old building, whose log walls darkened by time make it nice to sit and enjoy in the evening.

The well-equipped cottage building of about 80 m² is available for rent year-round (accommodation capacity 5+3). The premises consist of an atmospheric large living room kitchen and two separate bedrooms. The house also has a bathroom, sauna and indoor toilet. The fireplace brings warmth and atmosphere to the room. There is a wooden patio in front of the cabin, where you can use a gas grill and outdoor furniture.

The renovation of the Väentupa was completed in the spring of 2018. In the renovation, the kitchen was completely renovated and other surfaces were updated. A new good-sized patio was also built in the yard.

Väentupa's patio also has a hot tub that can be heated on request.

Väentu is well equipped; crockery for 10 people, cooking utensils, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, TV, radio, electric mixer, cleaning supplies, blankets and pillows. There are 4 adult beds and the second bedroom has a bunk bed. In addition, there is one sofa bed in the room. The swimming spot in Tainionvirta river is right at the end of the birch alley, about 100 meters from Väentupa. Perfectly suitable as a summer place for, for example, a family with children. Next to the hut is the Manor's playground, with e.g. swings for children.

Rental period according to the agreement. Unfortunately, animals are not welcome.

The rustle of history...

"Both in honor of the end of May work and after the harvest
a "crouching party" was organized in Väentuva of Virtaa Manor
to the rhythm of the fiddler's fiddling.
These dances always ended at ten o'clock, when the housekeeper came at the request of the municipal councilor Tandefelt to announce that it was time to stop."
